Correct Jeff. I find it very sad I wish there was an alternative. Going back to Jobs — and again stressing I’m not a fanboy — it feels almost like another NeXT is needed. A well-funded alternative to Apple products by people who have developed them, leading to it being bought and rolled into the Apple company when they accept the errors they’ve made in certain areas in recent years. But I can’t really see that happening again.
