Ha. I’m a professional user too. I’ve been developing software (as well as other uses) for over 35 years. I know how to treat, and use, a computer.
Just because you haven’t had a problem doesn’t mean there isn’t one. Why would Apple have initiated the keyboard repair/replace programme otherwise? For fun?
As for paying for Apple Care — no thanks. This was bought in the UK where we have 6 years legal rights by law. There is absolutely no need to pay Apple Care for cover against a defective product.
