Hackintosh laptops are much harder as you can’t mix and match the hardware in the same way you can with a desktop. It is possible I believe but not sure if it’s something I’d be too keen on trying. Good luck with it.

As for the future models, I can see two possibilities. Either they’ll continue on this path they’ve been on for 3 years (at least) or they’ll have had a wake-up call and put the effort in to doing it right this time. But given their delays in accepting faults in the first place, I wonder if they’ve had the time to actually fix the problems or not?
