If you didn’t read it, you have no idea what happened. It has nothing to do with optional paid-for insurance. The law gives you that already (in Europe).
And expecting Apple to provide hardware that isn’t defective from the factory, and to treat paying customers with due respect and to operate to the law is not expecting star treatment.
Apple have now agreed they will give me a full refund (it’s going through the process now) because it’s since broken again after another repair.
