I’ve had retina for several years now and no chance I’d go back to non-retina on a macbook. I seriously don’t know how you don’t appreciate the difference.

Anyway, as I’ve explained in other comments (this story is months old), I’ve now returned the macbook for a full refund under uk consumer law.

Today I have a chromebook coming for email, web, writing etc. I have an Imac already, and I’m building a very fast hackintosh with a 4k monitor (parts on the way) for video editing.

So, yes, thanks, I’ll have lots of fun.
