No, they really do, for two reasons
- Since I wrote this, the ‘repaired’ machine died again and they had no legal choice but to offer a like-for-like replacement with the current model. But because they took weeks to arrange it, I used my consumer law rights to get a full refund instead. I used the money to buy a Chromebook and a MUCH more powerful desktop pc, plus studio monitors and a 4k monitor — for the same price — and am now running Hackintosh on it.
