Sorry to hear that, I can understand why you are still angry. They don’t like it when you quote the law at them. Even more so when you know it better than they do.
At one point I was asked if the laptop bag I had brought the laptop to the store in was the one I used all the time. The point he was trying to make was very clear — it was an accusation that the bag wasn’t good enough and therefore any damage was my fault.
Even though 1) the bag is a proper laptop bag with internal padding and 2) I VERY rarely take it out the house (I’m lucky I can work from home). In fact, this year, it’s been in a bag to go to the Apple store more than anywhere else!
