The keyboard repair scheme is open to all sizes. Not sure exactly what impact (no pun intended) the keyboard has on the screen issues that I, and others, have suffered though or whether that’s another issue altogether.

As I explained in my original article, I was told last year that there was an accepted fault with the screens and I have (and I published) the internal code, but Apple have never said anything about it in public that I can see.

From what I’ve read recently, it’s not unusual for them to have an accepted fault but keep it quiet, apparently they have a history of doing that and only publicising the ones that affect the most people (or are easiest/cheapest to fix).
