Yes, the keyboard is appalling and they are too concerned about the thickness.
Which is why the repaired Macbook developed a keyboard fault and has now been returned under UK Consumer laws.
Apple received it last week and I should get my money back either tomorrow or within ’15 working days’ (probably tomorrow apparently) although they only pay out once a week on Tuesdays in one big batch…
Penny pinching beyond belief.
Meanwhile I’ve had to spend the money I’m getting back already for a new computer (two actually, a desktop pc which is a Hackintosh setup for video/audio, and a Chromebook for email/web/writing etc). Good job I can afford to do it, some people would be waiting to get a new computer while Apple sit on a cashpile large than most countries. Nice attitude.
